Acceptable Use Policy

1. Lawful use

Users may not use the Services to violate law, regulation, court order, contractual rights or the rights of another person. Users must obtain all rights, permissions and lawful bases required for data, prompts, models, code and other materials submitted to the Services.

2. Prohibited content and activity

• Create, upload, process or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful or exploitative content.
• Facilitate violence, terrorism, trafficking, child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content or credible threats of harm.
• Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other proprietary rights.
• Circumvent sanctions, export controls, access restrictions or legally required safeguards.
• Use the Services to make unlawful decisions about individuals or to discriminate unlawfully.

3. Security and platform integrity

• Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without Cogrion’s prior written authorisation.
• Bypass authentication, usage controls, rate limits, tenant isolation, safety controls or technical restrictions.
• Introduce malware, destructive code or content intended to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access.
• Interfere with the availability, integrity or performance of the Services or another customer’s environment.
• Use credentials belonging to another person, share credentials contrary to Documentation, or conceal the origin of abusive traffic.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public source code, models or proprietary components except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Data and model use

• Do not submit regulated, special-category or highly sensitive data unless the applicable Order and Documentation expressly support it and appropriate safeguards are configured.
• Do not use AI features as the sole basis for decisions that create legal or similarly significant effects unless Customer has implemented lawful human oversight, validation and appeal mechanisms.
• Do not represent AI-generated output as verified fact without appropriate review, or use outputs to impersonate a person deceptively.
• Do not use the Services to develop or deploy unlawful surveillance, social scoring or prohibited biometric categorisation.

5. Customer-selected LLMs and regional restrictions

Customer is solely responsible for determining whether it and its authorised users may lawfully access, procure, connect to and use any large language model, foundation model or model-provider service in each relevant country, territory and industry. This includes compliance with sanctions, export controls, import restrictions, data-localisation and cross-border transfer requirements, sector rules, age or content restrictions, licence conditions and the model provider’s terms and acceptable-use policies.

The availability of a connector, routing option, model name, technical integration or AI Gateway capability within the Services does not constitute a representation, warranty or legal determination by Cogrion that the model is available, licensed, suitable or lawful for Customer’s location, users, data or intended use. Customer must obtain and maintain any required provider account, approval, licence, consent or governmental authorisation unless the applicable Order expressly states that Cogrion supplies the model service.

Cogrion may restrict or disable access to a model or route where reasonably necessary to comply with law, a binding provider restriction or a material security requirement. Customer remains responsible for selecting a compliant alternative. Nothing in this Section excludes Cogrion’s responsibility for its own breach of the Agreement or applicable law.

• Customer is responsible for determining whether its access to and use of any third-party model, large language model or AI service is lawful and permitted in each applicable country, territory, industry and use case.
• Customer is responsible for complying with applicable laws, sanctions, export controls, data-location requirements, licences, regulatory approvals and the terms and acceptable-use requirements of the selected model provider.
• Cogrion’s technical ability to connect to, display or facilitate access to a model does not constitute a representation or warranty that the model is legally available, licensed, suitable or approved for Customer or its intended use.
• Customer is responsible for its prompts, inputs, configurations, model selection, outputs, use of outputs and all decisions or actions taken based on those outputs.

6. Resource use

Users may not intentionally impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load, evade agreed usage measurement, or use the Services beyond purchased entitlements. Cogrion may apply documented technical limits to protect availability and security.

7. Enforcement

If Cogrion reasonably believes use violates this AUP or creates an imminent material risk, Cogrion may require corrective action and may restrict or suspend the affected use as permitted by the Agreement. Where practicable, Cogrion will provide notice and limit action to the affected account, workload or Service. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination where the Agreement permits.

8. Reporting

Suspected abuse or security issues may be reported to admin@cogrion.com. Do not include exploit code, credentials or sensitive Customer Data in an initial report.

9. Updates

Cogrion may update this AUP to address legal, security or platform developments. Material changes affecting current Orders will apply as provided in the Agreement.
